199 fresh cases of Coronavirus infections recorded in past 24 hours

199 new cases of corona infection have been logged while the number of active cases has dropped from 2,831 to 2,687 as per the data updated on Thursday. The total death count has climbed to 5,31,886 as two deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours based on data updated as of 8 am. The COVID-19 case tally was recorded at 4.49 crore.

The number of active cases is now only 0.01 percent of that of the total infection and the national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.81 percent, claimed by the ministry.

As per the data on the ministry’s website, a total of 220.66 crore vaccines have been administrated as a result of which, the number of recuperated cases has surged to 4,44,57,720 and the fatality rate has been recorded at 1.18 percent.
