With the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan on the horizon, political parties are actively rolling out their manifestos in a bid to win over voters. Anil Sukhwal, the State Joint Secretary of AAP Rajasthan, elucidated the details of Arvind Kejriwal’s guarantee card during the event. He outlined the seven guarantees that AAP vows to deliver to the people of Rajasthan:
1. Free Electricity: Under the first guarantee, AAP promises to provide 300 units of electricity per month to the residents of Rajasthan, absolutely free of charge, ensuring uninterrupted power supply 24/7. Additionally, all outstanding domestic electricity bills in the state will be completely waived.
2. Education Guarantee: AAP commits to offering quality and free education to every child. Furthermore, the party intends to elevate all government schools to world-class standards and regularize all contract teachers in Rajasthan.
3. Mohalla Clinics: Kejriwal’s third guarantee pertains to healthcare. Sukhwal stated that medicines, tests, and medical procedures will be provided free of cost, with the establishment of Mohalla Clinics in every village and ward. All government hospitals will undergo transformation to become clean, aesthetically pleasing, and world-class healthcare facilities.
4. Martyr Samman Rashi: The fourth guarantee focuses on honoring the sacrifices of Rajasthan’s police personnel and soldiers. Families of martyred soldiers on duty will receive an honorarium of Rs. 1 crore.
5. Contract Workers: AAP’s fifth guarantee is to regularize contract employees across all government departments.
6. Corruption Control: The sixth guarantee aims to make government employees easily accessible to every citizen of Rajasthan via a phone call, streamlining services and reducing corruption.
7. Employment Guarantee: Under the seventh guarantee, AAP pledges to provide employment opportunities to the youth of Rajasthan as soon as they assume office. Kejriwal’s track record in Delhi, where he generated 12 lakh jobs, serves as a testament to this commitment.
Sukhwal also discussed AAP’s election strategy for the Rajasthan Assembly. The party plans to prioritize party workers when allocating tickets and will contest all 200 assembly seats using its own election symbol.
