In a disproportionate assets investigation, the Maharashtra anti-corruption bureau (ACB) has issued new summonses to Uddhav Thackeray faction MLA Rajan Salvi and his family members.
The ACB’s Alibaug office had asked his wife, brother, and another family member to come in for questioning on March 20.
For the previous two months, Salvi has been on ACB’s radar.
Salvi has already attended three times at the ACB headquarters in Alibaug.
In this respect, his personal aide has also been questioned.
Salvi told reporters at Vidhan Bhavan during the current budget session that his wife, oldest brother, and sister-in-law had received the ACB notice this morning.
He also expressed regret that the MLAs who support Uddhav Thackeray are being sent notices. However, no notifications have been issued to BJP leaders, indicating that federal agencies are being abused.
