The praise he received from his father, though, was the most memorable aspect for him. Sushmita recently mentioned how her father phoned her from Kolkata to express his gratitude. ‘My mother and I watched the second season together,’ Sushmita said. When my father contacted me from Kolkata to tell me how proud he was of me after seeing “Arya 2,” he was choked up with emotion. It was a very moving experience for me. I always promised myself that I would make my father proud. It took my father 27 years to give me this accolade.
