Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhary said Court of Inquiry will be fair on helicopter crash

On Saturday, Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari said that the investigation team’s ‘Court of Inquiry’ on the officials of the three services would be a fair procedure, and that this team would be asked to probe the incident. Every detail has been requested to be looked into. The probe would take a few more weeks, the Air Chief Marshal told reporters on the sidelines of a joint graduation parade at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, near Hyderabad. I don’t want to predict the Court of Inquiry’s decision because it is a comprehensive procedure.

There will be fair investigation of every aspect

Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari went on to say that Air Marshal Manavendra Singh has been given authority to investigate and look into every area to discover what went wrong, and that appropriate recommendations and conclusions should be drawn on the same basis. When asked about the details of the inquiry and the circumstances surrounding the helicopter crash, Air Chief Marshal Choudhary made the following reply.

Helicopter crashed on 8 December

A helicopter crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, killed India’s Chief of Defense Staff, his wife, and 12 other army soldiers on December 8. He stated, “I believe I should not make any hurried announcements about what may have caused the disaster or what remedial steps we would take for this,” and that “we will have to wait a few more weeks until the court of inquiry is concluded.” We’ll have to wait for now. I want to reassure you that this is a completely impartial procedure.

Following the helicopter crash, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in Parliament that an investigation into the disaster has begun by a committee of three services led by Air Marshal Manvendra Singh. Earlier, Choudhary, speaking at the passing out parade here, said that the nature of battle is changing fundamentally, and that India’s security situation is complicated by multiple threats and difficulties. By inducting Rafale aircraft, Apache helicopters, and cutting-edge equipment, the Air Force is developing into a tremendously capable force.
