After Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor on Monday, Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav took a jibe and said that people prefer to stay in Kashi when the end time comes near. Talking to reporters in Etawah, Yadav took a jibe at Modi on a question asked about the state’s BJP government’s plan to organize a month-long cultural program to celebrate the inauguration of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, saying, “It is good”. It’s a matter. Why only one month…. They should stay there for two or three months. It is a good place to stay. People like to stay in Banaras at the end of the day.” He said that in Hinduism, living in Kashi in the last days of life is given great importance.
Accusing the BJP of lying even in the matter of God, Akhilesh Yadav on Monday reiterated that the BJP is taking credit for all such projects which were started by the previous SP government. He said, “BJP leaders tell lies. They may lie in front of us and you, but when the matter is related to God, they should not lie. The projects that BJP is inaugurating in the state belong to our own government. Or So our government had accepted them or proposed them.”
Significantly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor today. Former chief minister Yadav had said in a press conference on Sunday that the project was passed by the cabinet during his reign. The former Chief Minister said that a few days ago the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath came to Etawah and during this time all the development works which he inaugurated were made under the SP rule.

The SP chief claimed, “Fearing a certain defeat in the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, the BJP has withdrawn the new agriculture laws.” He said, “Votes are important for BJP, not farmers. If the BJP had cared for the farmer a little, then such a long movement against the agricultural laws would not have gone on. During this 700 farmers lost their lives. ”He said that losing the elections in Uttar Pradesh means the departure of the Prime Minister and a big change in future politics.
