Captain Amarinder Singh made a major announcement on Monday about the impending Punjab Assembly elections, indicating that his party would run in coalition with the Punjab Lok Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party, and Dhindsa’s party, which rebelled from the Akali Dal. He made the announcement at a news conference in Chandigarh. Amarinder Singh recently announced his resignation from the party as well as his resignation as the state’s Chief Minister. Along with this, he stated that the new party would run in the Punjab Assembly elections.
It’s worth mentioning that, following top BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Captain Amarinder Singh said today that he will run for the BJP in the elections. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, on the other hand, has yet to open his cards. The most crucial thing is that Amarinder Singh, who has been cursing the BJP for the past 25 years, has decided to run with him in the polls. He further stated that, while there was no discussion at the party level, he had already discussed it with the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.
In such a situation, the Captain is now ready to oppose the BJP in the elections, standing shoulder to shoulder with the BJP against the Congress. Amarinder Singh, meanwhile, is declaring victory in the elections.
