The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said on Saturday that private students can register for the Class 12 board exams in 2022 starting on Thursday, December 2. The tests for these candidates will be held concurrently with the second term board exams for normal students by the CBSE. Private candidates have been divided into nine groups by the board.

Candidates who completed the exam in 2021 can retake it if they want to improve their grades in one or more subjects. The CBSE has stated that examinations for these children will be conducted only on the basis of the term 2 syllabus.

For the board exam in 2022, repeat candidates will be given a different roll number. “The Board will assign fresh new roll numbers to candidates appearing in 2022.” The CBSE has stated that candidates will not be permitted to appear with the previous year’s roll number.

Registration for CBSE examinations 2022 closes on December 20, 2021. Candidates can register till December 30th, but there will be a late charge of Rs 2000 for each candidate.
