ChatGPT4 says it can replace THESE jobs; check if yours on the list

The GPT-4 is the newest edition to OpenAI’s language model family. This new model is expected to be more advanced and superior than its predecessor, the GPT-3. It is a big multimodal model that can perform human-like in a range of activities.

OpenAI says that GPT-4 is more advanced in three key areas: creativity, understanding what is seen, and managing context.GPT-4 is believed to be substantially more creative than its predecessor, both in terms of developing and cooperating with people on creative ideas. This includes music, scripts, technical writing, and even writing in the style of the user. Can the new model, however, replace humans?

A Twitter user recently asked GPT-4 to identify occupations that the new model may displace in the near future.

Prashanth Rangaswamy posted a list of 20 vocations that GPT-4 may replace, as well as the human attributes it can replace, in a tweet.

Data entry clerk, customer service representative, proofreader, paralegal, bookkeeper, translator, copywriter, market research analyst, social media manager, appointment scheduler, telemarketer, virtual assistant, transcriptionist, tutor, technical support analyst, email marketer, content marketer, and even recruiter are all jobs that GPT-4 can replace.

The GPT-4 stated human attributes that it can replace, including speed and accuracy, attention to detail, arithmetic ability, creativity and writing, content production, and curation. Multitasking and organization, fact-checking and writing, and other skills are required.

Previously, OpenAI developers demonstrated that the improved version of ChatGPT exceeded the performance of 90 percent of people in some of the most difficult tests in the US. GPT-4 has received a lot of attention as a consequence of its good results, and numerous firms have signed up to use its API in their apps.

GPT-4 reportedly scored in the 93rd percentile on a SAT reading exam and in the 89th percentile on a SAT math test.

Nevertheless, it fared well on other examinations, earning an 88% on the LSAT, an 80% on the GRE quantitative, and an astounding 99 percent on the GRE verbal.

According to media sources, educational organizations like Duolingo and Khan Academy have teamed with OpenAI to include the GPT language model in their programs. Duolingo is focusing on building conversational bots, while Khan Academy is developing automated instructors, and both firms want to leverage the power of GPT to improve their products and give more effective learning experiences to their consumers.

Previously, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the country’s biggest information technology services provider, said that generative artificial intelligence platforms like Microsoft-backed OpenAI’s ChatGPT would produce an “AI co-worker” rather than displace employment.

“It’s (generative AI) a good thing to happen for the future, but I think it will be collaboration rather than replacement,” Lakkad said.

“..it (generative AI) will be a co-worker. It will be a co-worker and that co-worker will take time for them to understand the context of the customer,” Lakkad was quoted as saying by PTI.

Lakkad had said, “It is not that jobs will get replaced, but the job definitions will change.”
