On the second day of the winter session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, the state government presented the second supplementary budget of Rs.8479.53 crore for the current financial year. The state government also presented a vote on account of Rs 1,68,903.23 crore for the four months of the financial year 2022-23 in the assembly. During the presentation of the budget of State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, MLAs of Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) started protesting in front of the Speaker’s podium.In the Lakhimpur Kheri case, they all demanded the expulsion of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni.
After this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the house, took a jibe at Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party and Congress. Counting the achievements of the government, he said that we will form the government again and will also stop the third wave. He said that maximum corona tests are being done in UP inside the country. The government is working with the mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. The government has given free treatment and vaccine. Today PPE kits are being made in the state. UP has given 18 crore vaccines so far. Wrong publicity was also done regarding the vaccine, but due to the PM and our appeal, people took the vaccine in large quantities.
He said that the opposition says that riots happen in Uttar Pradesh, there is no security. No interest in development. In the past, there had been riots in Uttar Pradesh. There has not been a single riot inside the country in these 5 years. People’s perception about UP has changed. We have been successful in taking our work to the people.
