Today, India recorded 8,865 new coronavirus infections, the lowest increase in cases in a single day in the prior nine months. There were also 197 deaths reported in the country.

Meanwhile, Singapore’s transport minister announced on Monday that starting November 29, vaccinated travellers from five more countries, including Indonesia and India, will be able to enter the nation without going through quarantine.

The initiative will be expanded to include travellers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) beginning early next month, according to the ministry.
