Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that he has given his opinion on the decision to repeal three agriculture laws. He said that this decision should be seen as a gift given by the Prime Minister to the protesting farmers. He also appealed to the protesting farmers to return to their homes.
Gift from PM Modi
Chautala, leader of BJP’s ally Jannayak Janata Party, has welcomed PM Modi’s decision to return the law. He said, “The repeal of agricultural laws should be seen as a gift given by the Prime Minister to the protesting farmers on the occasion of Guru Purab. I appeal to all the protesting farmers to return to their homes and celebrate Guru Parv with their families. Am.”
Tikait said talks should be held on other issues as well
At the same time, soon after PM Modi’s announcement, Rakesh Tikait said, “The movement will not return immediately, we will wait for the day when agricultural laws will be repealed in Parliament.” The government should talk to the MSP as well as other issues of the farmers. It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address to the nation on Guru Parv, announced that agricultural laws would be repealed in the upcoming winter session of Parliament.
