The NCS verified that an earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale rocked Gujarat’s Dwarka on Thursday.
So far, no casualties or property damage have been recorded in Dwarka, according to sources.
“earthquake with a Richer Scale magnitude of 5.0 struck 223 kilometres north northwest of Dwarka, Gujarat today at 3:15 p.m.,” NCS added.
A tremor with a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale struck Tezpur, Assam, earlier in the day.
Tezpur, Assam, was struck by the tremor with a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale on Thursday morning, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
At a depth of 25 kilometres, the tremor was felt about 10.19 a.m.
