The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) MBA test has been cancelled in the states of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal due to the impending cyclonic storm Jawad. On December 5, the National Testing Agency will administer the IIFT (MBA) exam. According to the NTA, IIFT (MBA) tests would not be held in exam centres in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, Odisha’s Bhubaneshwar, Sambalpur, Cuttack, and West Bengal’s Kolkata and Durgapur due to the storm.
“In view of the cyclone expected to hit the coastal areas of Odisha on 04.12.2021 and the resulting disruption of normal life in the coastal areas of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal, it has been decided to postpone the exam scheduled to be held on 05.12.2021 at the exam centres in the following cities, to a later date,” according to NTA. The exam dates for applicants taking their tests at these locations will be revealed later.
Candidates should be aware that the foregoing postponement only applies to the places listed above, and that the exam will be held in all other cities on December 5, 2021 (Sunday), as planned. Candidates should check the NTA website at nta.ac.in for exam updates, or write to NTA at iiftmba-ib@nta.ac.in, or call the NTA Help Desk at 011- 4075 9000 or 011-6922 7700.
