Almost all of the farmers who were there on the Delhi-Haryana border in Singhu have returned home. On December 11, the farmers’ march was put on hold, and on the same day, they began returning to their homes. It took approximately three days for the entire movement to be cleared. The police have begun an operation to dismantle the barricade and free the entire road.

On the Singhu border between Delhi and Haryana, the farmers’ movement’s largest platform was established. Where once a few thousand farmers sat on the march, it was often noticed that their numbers had swelled into the lakhs. When the government agreed to all of the farmers’ requests and abolished all three agricultural laws, the United Kisan Morcha called a halt to the farmers’ movement on December 11.

After 380 days, the Kisan movement was put on hold

The farmers’ march was interrupted after around 380 days, following which the farmers began packing their belongings and returning home, and today, about 3 days after the movement was suspended, the farmers fully emptied the Singhu border. I’ve handed over.

The entire moving site was cleaned on Sunday with the help of multiple JCB equipment and volunteers. Following that, the few farmers who had been left on Monday morning have returned to their homes. Following that, the police began their workout by using JCBs to remove large cement blocks and barricades.

The road will reopen once it has been repaired

After the police administration has cleared the entire road, this route will be fixed as well, because it is no longer a highway at this time. For this reason, it is critical that repair work be completed on it; only then will it be reopened to the general public as before, and vehicles will be able to speed up on this highway once more.

Residents in the area breathed a sigh of relief when the farmers left this movement site. People travelling to work in the morning, as well as school and college-aged children, used to cross the border after crossing a long distance of several kilometres. Only then were they able to catch a ride, and it is for this reason that those people have also benefited from the movement’s suspension.
