Former Governor Satyapal Malik Criticizes BJP and Modi Government During Communal Harmony Conference in Sikar, Rajasthan

Satyapal Malik, former Governor of Bihar, Jammu Kashmir, Goa, and Meghalaya, who has recently been critical of his own party, BJP, launched another scathing attack on the Modi government during a communal harmony conference in Sikar, Rajasthan. This event aimed at fostering unity among the Jat, Muslim, and Meghwal communities and was organized at SK School ground number two in Sikar, with Satyapal Malik as the chief guest.

In his address, Malik did not mince words as he expressed his opinions on several issues concerning the government. He started by pointing fingers at the Central Government for the Pulwama attack, accusing them of being responsible for the soldiers’ deaths. He claimed that the government failed to provide airplanes to the soldiers, leading to the tragic incident. He also revealed that soldiers’ applications had been pending in the Home Ministry for four months, and if asked, he would have personally provided airplanes for their use.

Moreover, Malik criticized the government for not addressing the farmers’ concerns during their protests. He highlighted the lack of action against individuals like Brij Bhushan Singh, accused in the case of women wrestlers who protested at Jantar Mantar. Malik also took a swipe at Gajendra Singh’s statement regarding Mughal rulers, including Alauddin Khilji.

Regarding the Nuh riots, Malik argued that they were sponsored by the central government with the intention of spreading them to other regions, including Muzaffarnagar, Agra, Bharatpur, and Jaipur. However, he praised the farmers for thwarting these plans by not supporting the riots. Malik went on to label both Modi and the central government as “100% anti-national,” asserting that he would tirelessly work to remove them from power despite his physical condition.

Drawing upon India’s history, Malik emphasized the long tradition of Hindu-Muslim unity, adding that there was no need to read too much into the religion-based divide. He warned that if the current government remained in power, it could lead to the decline of agriculture, the military, and other aspects of the country.

The communal harmony conference served as a platform for discussions on unity and the importance of coming together in the face of divisive forces, both within and outside of the government.
