“Bad vaccination figures can’t be masked for long behind one man’s photo,” he said of the government’s immunisation coverage numbers. The prime minister’s photo appears on the country’s Covid immunisation certificates.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was briefed on the novel coronavirus variety, its characteristics, and the impact witnessed in several nations during the day, according to the PMO.
In light of “developing fresh evidence,” the PM instructed officials to evaluate proposals to remove foreign travel restrictions.
