Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on COVID – Oxygen tankers kept roaming on the streets of Delhi, there was no place to evacuate

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, speaking in the Lok Sabha on Friday during the winter session of Parliament, claimed that oxygen tankers were roaming the streets of the national capital Delhi but that there was no place to empty them. According to the Health Minister, Prime Minister Modi repeatedly stated in a meeting with Chief Ministers that there is nothing to conceal in this and that the data on deaths caused by Corona should be released.

He claimed that there was nowhere to evacuate the tankers that were circling Delhi’s streets. According to Mandaviya, there was a lot of politics surrounding the subject of oxygen and deaths. The Prime Minister insisted that the number of deaths should not be concealed. In addition, several states sought more oxygen than was required.

He went on to say that we had questioned all of the states about the data. Only Punjab reported a suspected death owing to a shortage of oxygen among the 19 states that replied. It’s worth mentioning that the authorities previously stated that they don’t have any data on deaths caused by a shortage of oxygen. Following this, the opposition parties targeted the government’s remarks.

BJP MPs demonstrated

12 MPs who were suspended for ‘indecent conduct’ in the Rajya Sabha during Parliament’s monsoon session maintained their sit-in in the Parliament grounds on Friday to protest the action taken against them. BJP Rajya Sabha members, on the other side, demonstrated against the actions of the suspended MPs. Members of the BJP in the Rajya Sabha carried posters showing the ruckus in the Upper House during the previous session, with some of them reading, “What is democracy? Or is it a case of hooliganism?”

Arun Singh, the ruling party’s general secretary, attended the demonstration, as did MPs Syed Zafar Islam and Rakesh Sinha, among others. On the other side, 12 suspended opposition MPs protested in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in the Parliament grounds today, as they have done every day since their suspension.
