In an enthusiastic market, the Nifty Realty index traded negative at 10:29 a.m. (IST) on Monday.
The leading gainers were Phoenix Mills (up 2.58 percent), Brigade Enterprises (up 2.41 percent), and Macrotech Developers (up 1.19 percent).
The top losers on the index were Oberoi Realty (down 2.16 percent), Indiabulls Real Estate (down 1.66 percent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.62 percent), DLF (down 1.51 percent), and Godrej Properties (down 0.49 percent).
At the time of writing, the Nifty Realty index was down 0.56 percent at 541.6.
The NSE Nifty50 index rose 35.6 points to 18138.35, while the BSE Sensex rose 130.36 points to 60817.05.
Thirty of the 50 equities in the Nifty index were trading in the green, while the other twenty were trading in the red.
The most actively traded stocks on the NSE were Vodafone Idea, ONGC, Zomato Ltd., NALCO, and PB Fintech Ltd.
In today’s activity, shares of Sigachi Industries Ltd., PB Fintech Ltd., Mirza Intnl, Jainam Ferro Alloys(I)Ltd., and Lovable Lingerie reached new 52-week highs, while IOL Chemicals, SJS Enterprises Ltd., Vikas Proppant & Gr, Rolta India, and IRIS Business Servic reached new 52-week lows.
