In other events, sources indicated on Monday that the Maharashtra administration is planning to hold the Assembly speaker’s election on Tuesday, the last day of the current winter session. The news comes amid allegations that Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has turned down the state government’s request to hold the speaker’s election during the state legislature’s winter session.
