According to authorities in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara district, a government school teacher has been charged with assaulting a Class 8 student.
The girl who resides in the school hostel told her family members that the instructor abused her on December 2, according to SHO Rampal of the Phulia police station.
On Tuesday, family members and townspeople protested outside the school, demanding that the accused be prosecuted.
A case has been filed against the instructor under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code (attack or criminal force on a lady with the purpose to insult her modesty) and applicable provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act.
The teacher has yet to be apprehended.
