According to data issued by the Ministry of Health on Saturday, India registered 10,302 new COVID-19 cases and 267 fatalities in the last 24 hours, bringing the total caseload to 3,44,99,925 and the death toll to 4,65,349 people (November 20, 2021).
Today, the country registered 11,787 recoveries, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 3,39,09,708. In just 24 hours, the active number of COVID-19 cases dropped by 1,752 cases.

The number of active cases has dropped to 0.36 percent of all infections, the lowest level since March 2020. The national COVID-19 recovery rate was also 98.29%, according to the Health Ministry.
Furthermore, a daily positivity rate of 0.96 percent was reported. For the past 47 days, it has been less than 2%, with a weekly positive rate of 0.93 percent. For the past 57 days, it has remained below 2%.
Meanwhile, the CORONAVIRUS inoculation effort has resulted in the administration of nearly 115.79 crore vaccine doses across the country.
