Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Sunday said that the criminal, whether wearing a ‘red cap’ or a ‘latticed cap’, will not be spared at any cost. Addressing a public meeting in Bhadsar, Ghazipur, Maurya said, “Whether the criminal is wearing a red cap or a netted cap. The state’s Yogi government will not spare him under any circumstances.” Although the Deputy Chief Minister did not name anyone, it is assumed that he meant the Samajwadi Party when he said “red cap.”
In the past, the red cap was in a lot of discussion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had told the red hats to be a red alert for Uttar Pradesh. In response to this, SP President Akhilesh Yadav had said that this red cap will drive the BJP out of power. No one, according to the Deputy Chief Minister, understands the plight of the poor and needy more than Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who himself is poor. As a result of this, free food, gram, oil etc. are being given to the poor under the Garib Kalyan Yojana.

The Deputy Chief Minister claimed that the BJP would get more than 300 seats in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections to be held in 2022. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth 177 crores in the district.
