David de Gea’s critical error allowed West Ham United to score early in the match. In the first half, De Gea could not save a straightforward strike from Benrahma. The strike from outside the penalty area was both too sluggish and too low. David could have easily saved the game, but an error cost them the game.
West Ham United emerged as the superior team in the second half, as they were the ones who continued to pursue and create opportunities, as opposed to the visiting Manchester United. Erik ten Hag was frustrated with his players on the sidelines. Manchester United currently have 64 points with four league games remaining.
