The central government recently reduced the excise duty on fuel, after which the prices of petrol and diesel were cut in many states. However, the Arvind Kejriwal government has not reduced the price of petrol and diesel in Delhi so far. Meanwhile, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has given his reaction to this decision of the Central Government. He has said that reducing the excise duty by five rupees will not work, at least 15 rupees should be reduced further.
Manish Sisodia “Cutting of 5 INR doesn’t work, at least Rs 15 and less you should bring down”
Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said in the press conference, “I want to request the central government that the excise duty on oil which you have reduced by five rupees, it is not going to work, at least 15 rupees and less You should bring down the excise duty that you guys had increased.”
