Motorola Razr 40 Renders, Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch Today

Motorola is all set to launch its new smartphone, the Razr 40, in the coming months. However, ahead of the official launch, specifications and renders of the device have been leaked, revealing what we can expect from the upcoming smartphone.

According to the leaks, the Razr 40 will have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The device will run Android 11 out of the box.

The Razr 40 is rumoured to have a 48-megapixel camera at the back and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, the phone is expected to include a 2,845mAh battery, which may seem small compared to other flagship devices but is larger than the previous model’s battery.

In terms of design, the Razr 40 will be similar to its predecessor, the Razr 5G, with a clamshell-style foldable design. The device will be available in black and gold colour options, and leaked renders suggest a sleek, modern look.

One of the major differences between the Razr 40 and its predecessor is the device’s hinge mechanism. The Razr 40 has been rumoured to have a new hinge mechanism, which is expected to be more durable and robust, addressing one of the flaws of the previous model.

The leaks suggest that Motorola will announce the Razr 40 in the coming months; however, no official announcement has been made yet. As with previous Motorola releases, we can expect a mid-range price point for the Razr 40, which is likely to appeal to consumers looking for an affordable foldable smartphone.

Overall, the leaks suggest that the Motorola Razr 40 is set to be a strong competitor in the foldable smartphone market. Its sleek design, powerful processor, and improved hinge mechanism make it an attractive choice for consumers. We look forward to the official release of the device in the coming months.
