North Korea has launched an unnamed ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan, according to South Korean news agency Yonhap, citing the South Korean military.
The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) did not immediately disclose any more information on the launch on Sunday.
The latest test comes three days after Pyongyang fired an intercontinental ballistic missile, the Hwansong-17, in retaliation for joint military maneuvers between the US and South Korea.
