PM Modi sought information in connection with Srinagar terror attack, expressed condolences to the martyred soldiers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has demanded further details about the terrorist assault in Srinagar and his condolences to the soldiers who were killed. The Prime Minister’s Office announced the news on Twitter. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in Varanasi. At around 5.30 p.m., terrorists opened fire on a police bus in Jevan, Pantha Chowk, Srinagar. This bus had 14 police officers on board who were injured. Everyone was then transported to the nearest hospital. The doctor declared two soldiers dead on the spot.

Officials stated they are conducting a search operation by cordoning off the area in order to apprehend the terrorists. The terrorist attack injured Ghulam Hassan Bhat, Sajad Ahmed, Rameez Ahmed, Bishamber Das, Sanjay Kumar, Vikas Sharma, Abdul Majeed, Mudassir Ahmed, Ravikant, Shaukat Ali, Arshid Mohammad, Shafiq Ali, Satveer Sharma, and Adil Ali. ASI Ghulam Hasan Bhat and Selection Grade Constable Shafiq Ali were among those killed.

According to IG Vijay Kumar, 25 of our police officers were taking a bus from Srinagar to Jewan after their shift ended this evening. Two to three attackers took advantage of the darkness and opened fire on the vehicle indiscriminately. He claimed that following the shooting, our soldiers replied by shooting one terrorist, but he managed to flee.

Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah, and Omar Abdullah, all members of the Congress, have expressed their sorrow for the troops’ deaths in the terrorist attack. “My humble tribute to all the soldiers who were martyred in the Srinagar terror attack,” Priyanka Gandhi stated. The entire country, speaking in unison, condemns the cowardly terrorist plots. I pray to God that the injured jawans would be able to recover.

Terrorists on motorcycles opened fire on the police bus in the evening, according to sources. The attack has been claimed by the Kashmir Tigers.
