Rahul Gandhi did not get permission to rally in Mumbai, Congress approached the High Court

The Congress has petitioned the Bombay High Court to allow Rahul Gandhi to hold a rally in Mumbai. The petition filed by the Congress is expected to be heard on Tuesday. Rahul Gandhi is planning a rally in Mumbai on December 28. The Congress wants to host a rally at Shivaji Park, which is historically significant. This is not permitted by the administration. Bhai Jagtap, the President of the Mumbai Congress, has expressed his disgust over this.

“We don’t understand why the rally’s permission hasn’t been granted,” he said. If they are concerned about Kovid, we have previously said in our letter that we will adhere to Kovid’s principles. We need to ask the court for approval because we don’t have much time left.

The Omicron version of the corona virus has prompted Mumbai Police to take drastic measures.

The organisers of the gathering of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi were recently charged by the Mumbai Police.

According to authorities, a FIR was filed against Sabre Alam and four others (all AIMIM employees) late Saturday night at Sakinaka police station.

The demonstration for Owaisi was place in Chandivali. This event drew tens of thousands of people, including AIMIM employees. In Mumbai, five instances of Omicron have been confirmed. So far, the state has received 20 cases.
