A suspected Pakistani infiltrator was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. Police sources said on Monday that the incident took place on Saturday night in Anupgarh area of Ganganagar district. The Pakistani youth has been identified as Mohammad Ahmer.

Sources said that this Pakistani youth, who entered the Indian border, was caught by the BSF personnel patrolling there. He was handed over to the local police on Sunday. He told that the youth told in initial interrogation that he was in touch with an Indian girl through social media and has come to meet her. Intelligence agencies will jointly interrogate the youth.

He was trying to cross the cordon when BSF personnel caught him. His age is said to be 22 years. A mobile phone has also been recovered from him.
