The Rajasthan Education Department has swung into action after 12 children were found corona positive in a single day in a school in Jaipur. In 22 days of the opening of schools in the state, 19 children have become corona positive in the state. Questions are being raised on the order of the state government making it mandatory to study offline with full capacity. In such a situation, the new education minister of the state BD Kalla called an important meeting on Wednesday. Education Minister BD Kalla has said that the schools were instructed to open only following the Corona guidelines. Further action will be taken based on the opinion of the Home and Medical Department. He said that opening both the options of studies online and offline will also be considered.

After the meeting, the Education Minister said that till now there have been cases of corona in private schools only, but not a single case has been reported in government schools. The increasing cases of corona in schools is a matter of concern. A detailed discussion has also been held with the officials of the Health and Home Department regarding this. A report will be prepared and submitted to the government. A decision on this will be taken only after discussing with the Chief Minister. There has also been talk about resuming online classes. A decision on this will also be taken soon.
23 new cases of corona were reported in Rajasthan on Tuesday
Today, on the second day of the global pandemic corona in Rajasthan, more than twenty new cases were reported. According to the Medical Department, 23 new cases were reported in the state on Tuesday and there was an increase in new cases in the last 24 hours. In the new cases, maximum 18 cases were reported in Jaipur. Four new cases were reported in Ajmer and one in Alwar. With this, the number of active patients in the capital Jaipur reached 92, while there are 136 active patients in the entire state. Apart from Jaipur, there are 14 active patients in Ajmer, ten in Alwar, nine in Nagaur, two each in Udaipur, Pali and Jaisalmer and one each in Kota, Jodhpur, Baran, Barmer and Bikaner.
