‘Bigg Boss 10’ famed Haryanvi singer-dancer Sapna Choudhary recently made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival. The announcement caused great excitement among Sapna’s supporters, who dubbed her the pride of Haryana for having represented their culture on such a big, famous stage in Cannes 2023.
The images, which have been circulating on social media, show Sapna making her Cannes 2023 debut in a light pink Indo-western dress with inlaid stones. Stones, sequins, and feathers were handmade onto the net-cloth for Sapna’s dress.
Furthermore, Sapna expressed to TOI her eagerness about making her Cannes debut.”I’m very grateful and really looking forward to walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. It feels like I am going to represent my culture and roots on this international platform. I’m highly excited and hope I make everyone proud.”
In a media interview regarding her debut at Cannes, she added, “Being the first regional artist to achieve this milestone is a dream come true. I never anticipated it, but I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and because of the support of my fans and my team.”
Ragini singer Sapna Choudhary is well-known for her performances across North India. The Indian delegation to the Cannes Film Festival this year includes numerous Bollywood celebrities. A number of celebrities made their Cannes debuts this year, including Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chhillar, and Murnal Thakur.
Former Bigg Boss contestants Hina Khan and Gautam Gulati also attended the film festival earlier. Avika Gor, Saumya Tandon, Helly Shah, and Kashmera Shah are among well-known TV personalities who have attended Cannes.
Air France and Sapna have worked together on the festival.
