The procedure for Maharashtra’s government formation has been chosen. There would be 18 cabinet members, 10 ministers of state, and 28 ministers from the BJP quota, according to sources. At the same time, Shinde Kemp can be made into six cabinet members and six state ministers. Initially, four ministerial positions will remain unfilled. Shinde Kemp will also be given the position of deputy chief minister.
In fact, given the recent political unrest in Maharashtra, one cabinet and one state minister can be appointed for every six MLAs under the state’s system for forming governments. This formula won’t work as a substitute for tax, though. There will be further changes done to it.
