The official television broadcaster of the Tata IPL 2023, Star Sports, unveiled its campaign titled ‘TATA IPL, Show on, Game on!’ on Thursday, starring great talents Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and KL Rahul.
The first commercial video, designed and conceptualized by Disney Star’s in-house team, depicts how the enthusiasm, excitement, and camaraderie of IPL fans propel players to perform incredible feats throughout the tournament. The commercial features three distinct screenings in Mumbai, Lucknow, and Gujarat, where communities come together to enjoy the IPL event. ‘TATA IPL, come on, game on!’ represents unity since IPL is best experienced with friends and family cheering on their favorite teams and players on huge screens. The video shows how, within the fury and clamor of these huddles, there are cut-outs of Rohit, Hardik, and Rahul that come to life when they hear the enormous roar of their supporters, who have gathered around television sets for the commencement of another magnificent festival of cricket!
Star Sports Spokesperson, said, “As the biggest sporting league returns to the TV screen, the theme of ‘community’ binding cricket fans who love to celebrate together comes alive during IPL. Our ‘Shor on, Game on!’ campaign is a tribute to fans who fuel the game and breathe life into it. IPL is unquestioningly a big-screen phenomenon that is best watched together on TV with friends, family and the community at large. By bringing the biggest cricket stars together, combined with Star Sports’ high-quality broadcast, expert commentary, and a host of technological innovations, TV offers the best viewing experience for fans, allowing them to immerse themselves in the action and feel like they’re right in the middle of the game.”
Star Sports will put out more videos featuring great cricket players like Virat Kohli, Shreya Iyer, and Ravindra Jadeja, as well as the winners of the #FanBanegaStar campaign, before the big tournament starts. The TATA IPL 2023 will begin on March 31, 2023, with a blockbuster match between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
