‘Take a break’ feature launched, Instagram wrote a special message on Twitter

Instagram has unveiled a new feature called ‘Take a Break,’ which encourages users to take a break after a particular amount of time has passed. Instagram stated on Twitter that taking a break is fine. We want you to enjoy yourself on Instagram. You may now set a reminder to take a break while scrolling through Instagram starting today.

Recently, Instagram was chastised for its child safety policies. It was claimed that teens’ minds were being harmed by their excessive usage of Instagram. The firm unveiled its ‘Take a Break Tool’ on Tuesday, which encourages users to leave the platform after a set amount of time has passed.

Instagram launched this functionality in September. This feature will be available first to users in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, and then to all users in the coming months.

This functionality can be enabled or disabled in “Settings.” The user can choose whether they wish to close the platform after 10 minutes, 20 minutes, or 30 minutes of use. They will see a full-screen alert asking them to close the app as a result of this. It will advise you to take a deep breath, write something down, go over your to-do list, or listen to music. Instagram also launched new advertising a few months ago to raise awareness about the platform’s safety features.
