Sai Charan Nakka spent the previous six months working in Maryland after completing his MS programme.

According to Maryland police, a 25-year-old Telangana software engineer who was discovered hurt inside a S.U.V. with what seemed to be a gunshot wound to the head has passed away.

According to the news website, Sai Charan Nakka was discovered injured with what seemed to be a gunshot wound inside a silver Hyundai Tucson SUV on Monday.

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police were called to a single-vehicle collision on southbound Interstate 95 close to the Caton Avenue exit at around 4:30 am on Monday.

The report stated that Sai Charan was sent right away to the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where he was eventually declared dead.

Following Sai Charan’s passing, Baltimore police opened a homicide investigation, it was noted.

The family of Sai Charan resides in Telangana’s Nalgonda town.

They were shocked by the information, and both mother Padma and father N Narasimha remained inconsolable.

Narasimha claimed that his Hyderabad-based brother gave him the news of his son’s passing on Monday night.

In August 2020, Narasimha claimed, his kid took a plane to the US.

He had been working in Maryland for the last six months after completing his MS programme.

On Friday, Narasimha chatted with his son.

“He had recently bought a new car. We have been told that at the time of the incident that he was alone in the vehicle,” Narasimha said.

“We messaged him on Saturday. But there was no response. We messaged him again, but we thought that may be due to work he did not reply,” a teary-eyed Padma said.

“Pls do not grant gun licences “indiscriminately” to citizens which may lead to similar occurrences,” requests Narasimha of the US government. In the US, gun violence is one of the main causes of early mortality.

According to the American Public Health Association, guns result in more than 38,000 fatalities and close to 85,000 injuries per year.
