The first day of CBSE Term 1 2022, which follows a new pattern

As per the new pattern announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Term 1 2022 exams will commence today, November 16, 2021. Students are preparing for offline exams after a year, with class 12 exams beginning today and class 10 exams beginning tomorrow.

Over 20 lakh students in class 10 and over 12 lakh pupils in class 10 are taking the CBSE Term 1 2022 exams. The Board has already given 10th and 12th grade admit cards to pupils at their respective schools. They were made available on the CBSE’s official website, cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE has already issued a wealth of material on these tests, as well as a set of instructions for everyone to follow. Exams will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on all days listed on the schedule; however, the length of the papers may vary, with some ending at 12:30 p.m.

In addition, pupils will get 20 minutes of reading time instead of the previous 15 minutes during CBSE Term 1 2022 exams. These improvements were implemented after considering the pandemic situation and determining that a continuous evaluation method would be effective in the current situation.

The MCQ format will also be used in the CBSE Term 1 2022 exams. Students will be requested to fill out OMR sheets, which will be checked at the exam centres the same day. The Board issued this new type of evaluation because it thought that a rationalisation of the 10th and 12th Board Exams syllabus, as well as a more logical and detailed evaluation plan, was necessary.

The exams for major courses will commence on November 30 and December 1 for classes 10 and 12, respectively, according to the CBSE. The Board even stated that students will be offered self-centers, taking into account the distance and their level of comfort. Times Now wishes all CBSE students the best of luck in their upcoming Board Exams!
