Tomorrow, Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi will hold a rally against inflation

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will attend a planned anti-inflation demonstration in Jaipur on Sunday, according to Ajay Maken, the party’s Rajasthan incharge.

Chief Ministers and previous Chief Ministers from other states are expected to join the “national rally,” according to him.

Mr Maken told reporters at a press conference that whether Congresswoman Sonia Gandhi will attend the protest will be revealed on Sunday.

In a press conference in Jaipur, Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government for policies and decisions that have “led to rising inflation” in the country, according to him.

He claimed that the Modi government’s every decision was anti-people. Mr Surjewala argued that the move to demonetize has thrown the economy into disarray.

“The Modi government’s every decision is anti-people. Small and medium-sized businesses went bankrupt. Neither naxalism nor terrorism were eradicated, nor was black money. The country’s unemployment rate is ten percent. To prevent growing inflation, defeat (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi and the BJP “According to Mr. Surjewala.

He said that gas and diesel prices had crossed 100 per litre, cooking oil costs 200 per litre, and tomatoes cost 80-100 per kg, citing increased fuel and cooking oil prices.

“Only ten persons in the country own 57% of the country’s wealth. The wealthy are becoming wealthier, while the poor are becoming poorer “According to Mr. Surjewala.

“When (Narendra) Modi ji visits Uttar Pradesh, (Chief Minister Yogi) Adtiyanath ji holds a rally and gets resources arranged through officers, but when the Congress holds a rally on its own expenses, the BJP levels allegations,” Mr Surjewala said in response to a question about the Congress misusing government machinery.

The coronavirus protocol, according to Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra, will follow Covid-19 procedures.

He stated that chairs had been set up, masks would be provided, and the temperature would be monitored.
