Logging into WhatsApp on the web has never been easier! Previously, whenever you wanted to use WhatsApp Web on your computer, you had to log in with your phone. This nuisance is no longer an issue, thanks to the beta program’s release of the Multi-device capability. The feature will be available to Android and iOS users soon.
Basically, you can use the app on your PC even if your smartphone isn’t connected to the internet. You merely need to scan the QR code and select the multi-device option. Until you log out of that PC, your WhatsApp account will be displayed in the browser. It works much better with the WhatsApp for Desktop software on Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS Monterey.
The multi-device connection feature was only available to beta users at the time. Users must first sign up for the WhatsApp Web beta programme before accessing the service. Users can now have their account reflected on up to four devices at the same time, thanks to the completion of the opt-in process. It’s worth mentioning that you’ll only be able to use your WhatsApp Web account for 14 days before you’ll have to scan the QR code again.
On Android smartphones, the feature works as advertised; however, it does not work on iOS devices. When your Android smartphone is connected to the Web portal, you can erase messages and threads. However, this is not the case on iOS. In beta mode, however, you can remove messages from iPhones.
This feature, on the other hand, is not available on tablets or other smartphones. For the time being, WhatsApp Web can only be used on a computer. Technically, tablets can access WhatsApp Web, but the experience isn’t ideal.
