Nisha Dahiya, a wrestler, posted a video on Instagram claiming that reports that she and her brother were shot and killed by unknown gunmen were false. Nisha Dahiya introduced her in the video, saying she’d gone to Gonda to play senior nationals and that the reports of her being shot were false.

Nisha and her brother Suraj were shot dead by unknown assailants in Haryana’s Sonipat while she was going home from work.
Sushil Kumar Wrestling Academy is located in Halalpur, Sonipat. Nisha’s mother was also reportedly admitted to Rohtak’s PGI Hospital in a severe condition. The reports were also published in the Hindustan Times. We apologise for the oversight.
