This would be her fourth win, placing her ahead of music legends like Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon, who each have three wins. Swift has already set a record by being the first person to receive seven nominations for song of the year.
In the movie category, Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ is a strong contender, with 12 nominations for its music, rivalling even its expected success at the Oscars. Billie Eilish’s ‘What Was I Made For?’ and Dua Lipa’s ‘Dance the Night’ are also notable nominees, especially in the songs written for visual media category, where ‘Barbie’ dominates.
The Best New Artist category is equally competitive, featuring Gracie Abrams, Fred Again, Ice Spice, Jelly Roll, Coco Jones, Noah Kahan, Victoria Monét, and The War and Treaty.
In the rock and metal genres, bands like Metallica, Foo Fighters, Greta Van Fleet, Queens of the Stone Age, and Paramore are vying for the Rock Album of the Year, showcasing the enduring appeal and evolution of these music styles.
